Stroud Book Festival
November 5, 2020 @ 6:00 pm - 6:30 pm
Stroud Book Festival celebrates all things books. Headed up by a team of local authors, literary and cultural professionals, and with Ian McEwan as patron, the festival presents a creative programme of high-quality, entertaining and thought-provoking events to engage this vibrant local community. Stroud Book Festival contributes to the town’s thriving cultural landscape, making sure books are fully represented.
Stroud Book Festival is committed to inspiring children and young people to tell their stories and become lifelong readers. We are working with local schools and community organisations to create fun and creative ways to bring out those hidden stories.
We want to support and promote writers, poets, illustrators, publishers and booksellers local to Stroud and the surrounding areas. We are keen to work hand in hand with the wider creative community and make the festival accessible to as broad an audience as possible.
